In the next ten to fifteen years, Google alone will have 1,200-1,700 construction workers and anticipates 75-100 employees per building, for a total of 1,400-1,600 employees. Also, it was recently announced that a solar plant will be initiated in the same area, creating additional demand for both construction and employees, as well as additional infrastructure in Bridgeport. This project has been in the development phase for the past four years, with all utilities, infrastructure, and roads already in place. Currently 4 buildings of 4 units per building as a 2 bedroom as fully occupied. Any other competing developers will be three to four years behind in infrastructure development at this point. The regional hospital plans to open its doors January 2024.
